'Rhythmic Notation and Practice', Volume 1, is a step-by-step guide to the understanding and execution of rhythm as it is structured in most western music.  Note values and their relationship to one another are introduced progressively, as are other musical directions including dynamics, tempo markings, musical form and texture.  These studies are not instrument specific and are meant to be utilized with hand and body percussion sounds and/or vocalizations.
